Anyways, in May 2020, Jamie Lynn Spears was interested in developing a possible revival and that discussions had already been underway, but nothing was official at the time as many details of the potential project had yet to be confirmed.
At least she appears to like the rest of her cast mates so that’s sweet. Even Kristen Herrera (who played Dana) was there with them despite the fact that she left after Season 1. Then in November 2019, all of the cast (minus Victoria and Alexa) would reunite for an episode of All That. Later on, In September 2019, Victoria Justice would say that nothing had been official/talked on but she would of been on board with a reboot. Everyone appeared to have a fun times, as shown in each of the cast members Instagram stories/posts.
Then around a few days/a week later, Dan got everyone (Except Spears as she was busy filming) for a reunion dinner. Afterwards stuff mostly remained silent again until in late July 2019 where they were tons of articles of Jamie Lynn Spears wanting to reboot the show (And she posted on her instagram about it later on).
This gained A LOT of attention and people wanted more due to it ending on a cliffhanger. Most of it was just rumors for years until in 2015 where Dan made a 5 minute non canon short where he got Sean Flynn and Chris Massey to reprise their roles as Chase and Michael to find out what Zoey said about Chase in her DVD. So after the show ended in 2008 (which gained some controversy as many people used to, and still think that the show ended due to Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy even though show wrapped months before) a lot of the fans were asking for a reboot or something of some sorts. Since I am very passionate about this show, with it being one of my all time favorite shows (I rewatch a lot of episodes on my free time as well), I decided to make this blog of the history of a reboot and what it could've been.
